Description
An English inlaid oak longcase clock by Smith of Sheffield, dating from the late 18th century. The case is surmounted by a swan-neck pediment over an arched brass dial fitted with a moon phase to the arch and a silvered chapter ring.
The dial is further embellished with subsidiary dials for date and minutes and is signed Smith, Sheffield.
The 8-day movement strikes the hours on a bell.
