Chelsea Clock company started around 1900 and is still producing ships clocks today. Many were produced for the US navy and It would strike the ships watch , 8 bells, which runs over the course of 4 hours.
This model has a very heavy cast brass body weighing over 5 kgs.
The clock has an 8” silvered dial with Arabic numerals and a slot in the dial for regulating the speed of the clock.
The clock has a serial number to the back of the clock and the movement."
