Description
1939 Zenith pocket watch.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, 15 jewel calibre 18-28-3-P, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Zenith, and it has the serial number 3,222,393 which dates it back to 1939. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which is engraved, ‘Grand Prix, Paris 1900”, a proud statement seen in Zenith cases produced in the first half of 1900s.
